Getting set up

Tap Set up a new household, pop in your name and your baby’s name, and you’re in. It takes about ten seconds. There’s no account to make and no password to remember.

Right after setup, Paige shows you your recovery words. Don’t skip past them. They matter, and there’s a section on them just below.

Your recovery words

Because there are no accounts, your recovery words are how you get back in, and how your data stays yours. Think of them as the spare key to your household.

• Write them down somewhere safe, or save them in a password manager.
• You’ll need them to sign in on a new phone, or to get back in if you reinstall.
• We can’t recover them for you. We never see them, by design. So keep them somewhere you’ll find them.

Adding your household

To share with whoever’s helping out, open Settings and share an invite. On their phone they choose Join an existing household and follow the prompt. After that you both see the same log, kept in sync, so you can hand over without a debrief.

Timing a feed

On the home screen, start a feed and the timer runs. Pause it if you need to, and stop it when you’re done. The feed is logged with how long it took. Paige remembers which side the last feed was from and suggests the next one, so that’s one less thing to hold in your head.

Logging nappies

Add a nappy in a tap, wet, dirty or both. In the early weeks Paige shows the day’s count against what’s usually expected, so you can see at a glance how things are going.

While you were away

When you come back on after a rest or a shift apart, Paige sums up what happened while you were gone. There’s nothing to set up. It just appears when there’s something to catch you up on.

Using it offline

Paige keeps working with no signal. Keep logging as normal and it’ll all sync up when you’re back online. Nothing’s lost in the meantime.

Exporting or deleting your data

Your log is yours. You can export everything from Settings, and you can delete your data whenever you like. If you remove your household, its data goes with it.

What does it cost?

Everything works from day one, with nothing locked. If Paige is helping and you’d like to chip in what it’s worth to you, that keeps us going. If now’s not the time, that’s absolutely fine. You’re welcome to use Paige for as long as you need.
